Introducing our brand new website for 2020

Happy New WEBSITE!

That’s right, the latest development to come out of Scanprobe is in fact our website! It has been over a year in the making and (we feel) really helps to propel ourselves to the forefront of our industry.

We’ve wanted to bring our website up to the same level as our manufacturing output, but this is something you simply cannot rush. It’s a big move to launch a new website and you only get one chance.

Measure twice, cut once!

Jon Barry, MD & Owner, Scanprobe Techniques Ltd.

There were a lot of points that we as a company wanted to address with this new website, and none more important than reaffirming our position in the market.

Company directors and husband and wife team, Jon & Fiona Barry

The roots of the company are very much within the drainage industry, and this plays a huge part in the success of the company to-date. Our understanding of the industry has enabled us to develop products and software that help the industry to progress. But we are a manufacturing company, and hopefully this new website will go a long way towards projecting this image.

Expressing the history and strengths of the company is a key point Jon wanted to make when designing and creating content for the new website.

Now, a company website is one of, if not, the best remote angle you have to impress your company messaging upon external influencers, and can say more than an email or a printed brochure. So making sure that it is a strong online resource for our customers & our distribution partners was high on the priority list for the sales function of the company.

It is a well-known fact that sales and marketing work hand-in-hand, and whilst marketing has been driving traffic to the website, our products and technologies have developed quicker than the website that is meant to help promote them. I’m very happy the company have addressed this, and have committed to do so on an on-going basis.

It is not just the products that have changed – we are delighted to have successfully grown our global distribution network, and as part of our on-going support efforts to our distribution partners, we have enhanced this area of our website. This area of our business is very important to us, as it provides us with an international platform to take the Maxprobe. TrapJumper and indeed mina Survey to different markets across the world.

Scanprobe Techniques UK & International Distribution Partners moving into 2020

We are very proud to have some top companies across the world working with us as our distribution partners in their respective countries. For example, Spartan Tool LLC in the US have made great strides in their markets with the Explorer range of camera systems, in Octopus Electronics in South Africa we have a partner with a great deal of expertise in their field, not to mention the UK distributors, some of whom have been with us for a great deal of time. I could mention them all, but there’s a dedicated page to them all on this brand-new website!

Having experienced feet on the ground in these countries and territories is key to our on-going success.

Experience is something that Jon values highly, and credits a lot of the company’s successes to, and as a result he wanted this new website to help to showcase this strength.

You don’t hire smart or skilled people and then tell them how to do their job, and I believe it is important to let our customers and partners know how we are who we are. The team at Scanprobe are incredible; the dedication and the knowledge they have is absolutely pivotal to our success.

The hunger to continuously improve and progress individually and as a company has driven Scanprobe forward.
Our experienced Service Manager Adam Jones has been with the company since 1996

We really hope you like our brand new website – please take a look around and let us know what you think.

Finally of course, let us take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy & prosperous 2020.
